Adventure Program
Our Adventure Program takes middle school and high school students beyond the walls of our school, into canyons, cliffs, and wilderness landscapes across the U.S. Each trip is designed to challenge students physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through shared experiences, technical training, and intentional discipleship, students grow in character, resilience, and faith.
An Elective That Goes Beyond the Classroom
The Adventure Program begins right here at school. Offered as an elective that meets 1–2 times per week, students learn the fundamentals of wilderness safety, teamwork, and technical skills in preparation for our off-campus expeditions. Separate Middle School and High School classes allow students to continue to develop their skills.
WILDERNESS DISCIPLESHIP
Discipleship Beyond the Classroom
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” –Psalm 19:1
We believe that you can see God clearly when you are not surrounded by distractions and our students are discipled and have a chance to share life and faith with others through the Adventure program.
COMMUNITY
Community and Leadership
Through shared challenges, students learn to trust, lead, follow, and support one another. Adventure provides an opportunity for students to build community and teamwork.
PERSONAL GROWTH
Growth and Resilience
We believe that resiliency is a key factor to succeeding in life. Adventure gives a unique opportunity for students to push themselves outside their comfort zone, and do hard things which will set them up for success in the rest of their lives.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Climbing and Canyoneering
From rope systems to navigation, students develop real-world outdoor competencies in climbing, canyoneering, and wilderness safety, giving them the skills they need to continue outdoor disciplines with independence.
